This is to show the many abbreviations that I use throughout my databases

= (not taken up) - not used
= Wrongly painted / false markings

= Year of Manufacture
= unknown deatails
Con-No or C/N = Construction (Build) Number » = airfame / c/n modified to .....
canx or cx = registration cancelled w/o = airframe written off
WFU = airframe is Withdrawn From Use dest = airframe destroyed
stored = airframe placed into storeage pres = airframe preserved in some form
Airframe History = Initial Reg'n / Serial First (left)

CofA
= Certificate of Airworthiness
CofA susp = CofA suspended CofA exp = CofA expired

all military have the serial followed by the country in '( )' brackets throughout the 'history' field
but have the country followed by ':' then the serial in the 'regn' field
