The family 'folklore' for the Blancher/Blanchard's is that of an immigration to Pennsylvania, United States; not quite sure when or where that was, but at some point they crossed the border into Canada and made their home in West Oxford County, Ontario. I have not found really any evidence to prove this family 'folklore' right or wrong.
