2. "The Twenty-Third Psalm
The Lord is my shepard; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in
the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the
valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy
rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence
of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil' my cup runneth over. Surely
goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell
in the house of the Lord forever.

Organ Postlude
We have gathered here to praise God and to witness to our faith as we celebrate
the life of Verna Blancher. We come together in grief, acknowledging our human
loss. May God search out hearts, that in pain we may find comfort; in sorrow,
nope in death, resurrection. Above all else Verna Blancher was a family person.
With her life's partner, John, she poured her all into the care and nurture of
her twelve children - and later into the love and enjoyment of grandchildren
and great-grandchildren. Verna Blancher will be greatly missed by all who knew
her. The service of Commital will take place here in the Funeral Chapel this
morning. Mr. Blancher and members of the family would like to invite those present
to join them for a time of fellowship over lunch at the Chamerlain township Hall,
following the service. The refreshments are provided by the Chamberlain Birthday
Club. Everyone is invited to gather at the Hall following the service, and to
partake of the food and fellowship. The meal will begin with a table blessing."
