At Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll on Wednesday, January 1, 1992, Douglas Roy Blancher, in his 67th year of R.R. #1 Beachville. Beloved husband of Barbara (Guy) Blancher. Dear father of Robert and his wife Betty of R.R. #5 Ingersoll., Wesley and his wife Edith of Beachville, Velma Blancher of Sudbury, Douglas and his wife Kathy of Ingersoll, Vernon and his wife Diane of Ingersoll, Richard and his wife Suzanne of Ingersoll, James and his wife Carien of Ingersoll, Beverly and her husband Larry Harris of Ingersoll, Ronald and his wife Linda of Beachville, William and his wife Christine of Beachville and Sheryl and her husband David Elliott of Woodstock. Dear brother of Charles of Ingersoll, George of Ingersoll, Norman of Ingersoll, Leslie of Beachville and Louis of Centreville. Also survived by 21 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his first wife Laura and two sons Christopher (1978) and Bradley (1980). Friends will be received at McBeath Funeral Home, 246 Thames St. S., Ingersoll, Saturday 7-9 PM and Sunday 2-4:30 PM and 7-9 PM where service will be held on Monday, January 6 at 1:30 PM. Rev. Robeth Strachan officiating. Temporary entombment. Interment later Ingersoll Rural Cemetery. Memorial donations to Crippled Children or the charity of your choice may be arranged at the Funeral Home."
