At Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll on Wednesday, October 26, 1983, Ashton Blancher age 83, beloved husband of May (Eaton) Blancher of Centreville. Dear father of Charles of Ingersoll, Douglas of RR1 Woodstock, George and Norman of Ingersoll, Leslie of Beachville, Louis of RR2 Ingersoll, Gerald of Kitchener. Dear brother of Mrs. Nora Harcourt of Woodstock, Mrs. Ruby Gardener of North Augusta, Sandy of Kamloops, B.C., John of Charlton, Harrison of Aylmer. Also survived by 30 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. Predeceased by one son Donald, two brothers Joseph and Beverly, three sisters Phoebe Boyce, Daisy Thompson and Gertie Warner. Friends will be received at the McBeath Funeral Home, 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll, where complete service will be held on Friday, October 28 at 2 p.m. Reverend Lorne Thrower of West Oxford United Church officiating. Also by 4 brothers and one sister.
