Charles (Sandy) Alexander Blancher of Kamloops passed away peacefully on December 8, 1994 at the age of 98 years. Sandy will be lovingly remembered by his wife Florence and family; Velma Green or Larder Lake, Ontario, Brian (Lisa) of Roatan Island, Honduras, Penny (Seiko) Ouchi of Kamloops, Bonnie Watt of Woodstock, Ontario, Dale (David) Mayer of Sweaburg, Ontario, Lee (Celenia) of Bayview, Texas; brother Harrison (Mary) of Aylmer, Ontario; sisters Nora Harcourt of Woodstock, Ruby Gardiner of N. Augusta, Ontario, Mineatta Jorstad of High River, Alberta; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Sandy was predeceased by granddaughter Christina Watt. Cremation. An open house 'celebration of life' will be held for family and friends on Sunday, December 18th, 1994, between 1-4 pm. at the residence of Penny and Seiko Ouchi, 248 Arrowstone Dr., Kamloops. Phone (604) 828-1270. A service of remembrance will be held at a later date in West Oxford, Ontario. If friends so desire memorial donations may be made to Overlander Extended Care Hospital or Ponderosa Lodge in memory of Sandy. Kamloops Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
